The Story Behind Gearedbox

Hi! My name is Russell Riedel, co-founder of Gearedbox and designer of The Geneva Box. Gearedbox was founded by myself and my wife Danielle. Both of us  of passionate and enthusiastic players and collectors of Magic The Gathering.  We've been playing MTG for over 25 years and our favorite format is Commander so we can connect with friends and play MTG! 

For Christmas 2021, and because everyone was stuck inside, I got a 3d printer. Naturally when you get a new toy you want to play with it.  So I started printing the usual bobbles, but that got boring. As we started leaving our hibernation domiciles we got back into social MTG and I needed a place to store my decks. I didn't want to just store my deck I wanted to display them. These cards are literally art work after all and I'm very proud of my decks. I had a 3d printer and a burning interest, to make a deck box with cards that rise out of it. A deck box that I can display my carefully planned out commander decks. Thus The Geneva Box!
